thing is pretty awesome. It’s a Ram frame shortened to bobbed Tacoma Body.

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

It’s also covered in bed liner and has some extensive suspension upgrades as well.

Until the last photo I would have never guessed it was 20" rimz and 38" tires. Little truck scale had me thrown off.

The wheels are stupid but cool build.

It looks pretty neat but I’m not sure what is meant by bobbed.

I think the bed is shortened, before and after the rear wheels.

I really didn't notice it either. I thought they were maybe 17s on 35s.

That seems right I’m not really finding a strict definition of it in reference to a truck but there is a strict definition of the hair cut.

Probably the only time you can post a pic of someone cumming in their taco.

Okay, this thing is really cool. But I always have to wonder, do people sell these things? Is there really some guy out there with 14.5k burning a hole in his pocket who, for his whole life, has never wanted anything more than a cut up Tacoma bolted to a cut up Ram?

That just seems like so much money, like SO MUCH money to give “some guy” for his cobbled together truck. I could see maybe... maybe if you were this guys trail buddy and you had watched the project come together and seen it working out on the trails a bunch of times and knew it worked great.

But really, how much of an audience can there possible be for this? Please someone correct me if I’m wrong.

That’s pretty cool. Creative solution too. A full size Ram is too big for most trails, yet has the diesel and solid axles that are ideal. A Tacoma is the right size, yet is underpowered for tires that big and only came with IFS. I have to imagine making the body fit the frame is easier than fitting the engine and axles to a Tacoma, but I’ve never attempted anything nearly as complex.

He price could be a bit much, but I think if you live in an area where off reading is popular, and something people spend money on, I can see it selling for something like that.

I mean yeah a late 90s Ram 2500 with a 5.9 and the right transmission is worth maybe 10ks IF it has low mileage as in less than 125,000 miles. But you can’t really compare this to a stock Ram any more. But that presents another problem. We have no way of knowing what condition, and mileage that Ram had before it lost its top. Also the project isn’t finished, it still needs a roll cage, and it looks like some under side protection. No to mention th seller admits it has at least one electrical gremlin.

Ultimately I don't know how to feel about the price. But I think if it was more finished I'd feel better about the price.

Bobbed was also use by motorcycle guys back in the day. Mainly to refer to a bike that had been modified for off road use. Where they would chop off the long flowing fenders of 30s and 40s Harleys.
